Naples offers a variety of cultural and entertainment activities and is home to several world class cultural facilities including the Philharmonic Center for the Arts and the Naples Museum of Art.

       
The Philharmonic Center for the Arts in Naples is the Elite Realty performing arts hall in Southwest Florida, hosting more than 400 events a year including world-class dance, opera, classical and popular music and Broadway musicals. The Phil opened in 1989, and is home to the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and the West Coast Florida home to Edward Villella�s Miami City Ballet.

             
The Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, resident orchestra of the Philharmonic Center for the Arts, is celebrating its 20th-anniversary season in 2002-03. The internationally recognized ensemble performs more than 150 concerts each season, including classical, pops, ballet, chamber and family programs. The orchestra has accompanied such artists as Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli and Kiri Te Kanawa and recently was featured in a nationally televised PBS broadcast, A Century of Broadway. 

           
The von Liebig Art Center was designed by Naples architect Alfred French and opened to the public in 1998. The two story, 16000 sq. ft. center features six studios, lobby gallery, a main exhibition gallery, four galleries-in-the-round, two collection storage vaults, library resource center, gift shop, administrative offices and a catering kitchen.

Collier County Museum was established in 1978, the Collier County Museum preserves and interprets the history, archaeology and development of Southwest Florida's last frontier. The Museum's five acre historical park at the Collier County Government Center in Naples, and it's branch sites in Everglades City and Immokalee offer a full range of education, family activities and cultural programs.

                         
The Naples Museum of Art, Southwest Florida�s only full-scale art museum, opened in November 2000 adjacent to the Philharmonic Center for the Arts. The three-story, 30,000-square-foot museum features 15 galleries showcasing a variety of international art. Among the museum�s permanent holdings are an extensive collection of ancient Chinese art, paintings and drawings by American masters from 1900-1955 and one of the world�s leading miniatures collections.

            

The Barbara Mann Theater is located on the Edison Community College campus in Fort Myers Florida. It is the home of the Symphony of Southwest Florida and Gulf Coast Symphony. The theater is also a popular venue for touring Broadway and off-Broadway show as well as many musical concerts.

 The Florida Repertory Theatre is the only professional regional theatre below Sarasota in Southwest Florida. Florida Rep is an ensemble based company which was established in 1998. The Florida Rep performs at the Arcade Theatre, a favorite meeting place for residents and visitors alike for over 90 years, was built in 1908 and exhibits all the charm and grandeur of early Florida.
